Founder & Director

Hi, I'm Wietske Lentink, the owner and founder of Hirecru. I am a relentless people connector
and dog treat aficionado with a love for the beautiful outdoors. My fascination with people
—led me to study psychology.

After graduating with my honours degree, I got started as an HR representative at a construction company. However, life had other plans for me. My Great Dane, Ruby, was battling epilepsy, and I needed a job that allowed me to work from home to care for her. This need serendipitously introduced me to the world of recruitment.

I started as an intern at a recruitment firm, and my dream of working from home became a
reality. In hindsight, I realise how perfectly everything fell into place. My need to support Ruby
led me to a fulfilling career that I was meant to find. Fast forward a few years later, and I run
my own tech recruitment firm.
